Adebayo, SDP Unveil Campaign Blueprint Tomorrow

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) and its presidential candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo, will unveil their campaign blueprint for the 2027 election.

The presidential blueprint is tagged _Farewell to Poverty and Insecurity: Governance & Accelerated Development — Blueprint of a New Nigeria, 2027–2031_ and authored by Adebayo.

According to a statement by Adebayo’s media team, the public presentation of the policy document in Abuja will provide Nigerians with detailed insight into the party’s vision for the country ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The blueprint, titled _Farewell to Poverty and Insecurity_, places the twin challenges of poverty and insecurity at the centre of the SDP’s proposed governance agenda, while outlining strategies for accelerated national development between 2027 and 2031.

The presentation is expected to attract political stakeholders, professionals, members of the diplomatic community, civil society actors, the media, and other Nigerians interested in the direction of the country.

The document is being presented as more than a campaign manifesto, with its title signaling the SDP’s ambition to offer a comprehensive policy alternative focused on tackling the economic and security pressures confronting millions of Nigerians.

Adebayo, who has consistently made poverty reduction, economic opportunity, security, and effective governance central to his political message, is expected to explain the policy framework and how his administration would translate the blueprint into concrete programmes if elected president in 2027.

The event will be hosted by Professor Sadiq Abubakar Gombe, National Chairman of the SDP.

The unveiling comes at a time when poverty, unemployment, insecurity, inflation, and declining purchasing power remain dominant issues in Nigeria’s political discourse, making competing presidential policy proposals a major focus ahead of the 2027 elections.

With the title _Farewell to Poverty and Insecurity_, the SDP appears set to frame the 2027 contest around a fundamental question: whether Nigeria can move from managing poverty and insecurity to deliberately eliminating their root causes.
