Danielle Adewusi Crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2026

Lagos State representative Danielle Adewusi has emerged victorious as Miss Universe Nigeria 2026, defeating 19 other contestants at a grand finale held at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.

Adewusi, a UK-trained medical doctor and King’s College London graduate, won over the judging panel through a rigorous selection process involving camp activities, talent showcases, and a final question-and-answer session. Edo State representative Anita Osikhena and Cross River’s Myya Jones finished as first and second runners-up, respectively.

The newly crowned queen will represent Nigeria at the 75th Miss Universe competition scheduled for November 24 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She plans to leverage the global stage to champion her “Scrub the Stigma” outreach project, an initiative focused on improving women’s access to healthcare and public health education.
