Celebrated veteran actor, Olu Jacobs, has been buried after family, friends, and colleagues gathered for his funeral service at This Present House Church, Lekki, Lagos, today.
The cerebral actor who mentored many died on September 16, 2026, at the age of 84.
The service has drawn members of the entertainment industry and other dignitaries, who came to pay their last respects to the late thespian.
R&B musician Darey Art Alade, who came to honour the thespian, performed his hit song “Pray For Me,” as Olu Jacobs’ wife, Joke Silva, and others sang along.
One of the highlights was the presentation of Olu Jacobs’ biography by his son, Olugbenga Jacobs.
The body of the legendary actor was taken to a private cemetery for his interment. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
The burial follows a Night of Tributes held on Wednesday at Glover Memorial Hall, Lagos Island, where Nollywood stars and well-wishers gathered to pay tribute to the departed thespian.
