BBNaija’s Mike Edwards Challenges Carter Efe To Celebrity Boxing Match

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and professional boxer, Mike Edwards, has challenged content creator, Carter Efe, to a boxing match.

The challenge comes after Carter Efe won his recent fight against singer Speed Darlington.

Edwards took to social media on Monday, October 5, 2026, accusing Efe of avoiding a bout with him and urging him to take on a proper challenge.

“Quit fighting these bums and accept a real challenge. Give the people value for their money,” Edwards wrote. “Let’s give Nigeria the fight they actually want—Machine Mike vs Carter Efe. You say you want a real fighter? I’m not hard to find. Quit ducking me.”

Edwards revealed that he has already contacted Balmoral Promotions regarding the proposed fight, adding that he will compete in a bout in Dubai on November 7 before turning his full attention to Efe.
