Bailey, who reacted to the 16-track project on social media, praised the singer for what she described as an impressive body of work, telling Ayra Starr that she “ate” with the album.
The American star further expressed her admiration for the Nigerian singer, writing on Instagram, “You are most definitely a star.”
Her endorsement adds to the wave of support the album has received from prominent names in the global music industry since its release.

American singer Justine Skye and Grammy-winning songwriter and musician Leon Thomas equally joined the online celebration, lending their voices to the growing international recognition of Ayra Starr’s latest offering.
Beyond the music industry, global beauty brand Fenty Beauty, founded by Barbadian superstar Rihanna, also marked the album’s release by sending Ayra Starr a bouquet in the brand’s signature purple.
The gesture further highlighted the growing crossover appeal of the Nigerian singer, whose music has increasingly connected Afrobeats with audiences beyond Africa.
Starrgirl, Ayra Starr’s third studio album, features 16 tracks that draw from Afrobeats, R&B and pop, while bringing together some of the biggest names in contemporary music.
The project includes collaborations with Nigerian heavyweights Wizkid and Rema, as well as British singer ZAYN, adding an international dimension to the album’s sound.
With its blend of African rhythms, contemporary R&B and pop influences, the album showcases Ayra Starr’s evolution as an artist while reinforcing her position among the leading voices driving the global expansion of Afrobeats.
